Cancellation Policy
If the cancellation is made more than 14 working days before the course starts, you can get a full refund minus 100 NIS administration fee.
But, please pay attention that any cancellation admitted 14 working days or less before the course starts, won’t be automatically refunded unless the spot is filled by another student from our waiting list. In which case a partial refund will be given according to the following steps:
Two weeks to one week before the course starts: A full refund minus 500 NIS.
One week to 3 days before the course starts: A 50% refund.
3 days or less: No refund.
Just to be clear – postponing a course to a later date counts exactly like a cancellation. Of course, on rare occasions, there could be exceptional cases. This cancellation policy follows the guidelines of the Israeli consumerism law.
Examples:
A student signs up and pays 4 weeks before the beginning date of the course. If he or she regrets within a week, meaning more than 14 working days before the course actually starts, the cancellation is accepted without a question and the student will get a full refund minus 100 NIS. Though if the student regrets after seven days, which means that there are less than 14 working days until the course begins, the cancellation will be partially refunded if and only if the spot is taken by another student. In such case the refund will be partial according to the above guidelines.
An example of an exceptional case is if a student is found to be incapable of learning a second language or if the courses level doesn’t fit and the Ulpan cannot find a suitable alternative.
