“Bayit” means Home.
We founded Ulpan Bayit in 2013 to build the kind of Hebrew school Tel Aviv was missing — professional, personal, and connected to real life.
Bayit means home. That's what we set out to create: small classes where you actually get to speak, ask questions, and learn from people who care about your progress. A place where you don't just finish a course — you make Hebrew part of your life.
Wherever you're joining us from, this is a place to belong.
Everything you need to know
Max 8 students per group. Personal attention is the whole point.
Standard courses: 12 weeks, twice a week, 2–2.5 hours per class. Intensives cover the same level in 5 weeks, four mornings a week.
Live Zoom. A computer with camera and mic — that's it. Classes are live conversations, never recorded lectures.
That's exactly what Aleph is for. You'll learn the alphabet, basic sounds and first words from scratch — with peers at your level.
A 20-minute 1:1 Zoom with one of our teachers. You meet, chat a little, try the method — and leave knowing your exact level. Free, no strings.
